    Thanks for these valuable informations, in case we have two DoIP gateways, the first one is connected to test equipment and the second one is behind the first gateway, how the identification works ? does one vehicle identification request is enough to make Gateway 1 and 2 both respond (gateway 1 forward request to gateway 2) or we must process one request for each gateway (means we need two Vehicle identification request)? thanks in advance

      For the time being, a seed and key DLL is needed (a future update of the Vector Security Manager will bring support for the SecurityAccess service).

      Because I made a small error in preparing the slide that managed to slip through our checking process unnoticed; the slide should say "revolutions per second" (not "rpm") ::Facepalm:: Background maths: I assumed that the wheel had a circumference of 1 m, so one revolution per second equates to a linear speed of 1m/s. To convert revolutions per second to km/h we need to multiply by 3600 (seconds in an hour) and divide by 1000 (metres in a kilometre), which can be simplified (via dimensional analysis) to multiplication by 3.6 ;-)

      Hi @sangrampatil7258, geting back to your question: Our vVIRTUALtarget features level-1 and level-3 vECUs (according to prostep ivip classification www.ps-ent-2023.de/fileadmin/prod-download/WhitePaper_V-ECU_2020_05_04-EN.pdf). Those levels incorporate an abstract platform which is agnostic of the target hardware. So to say, the tool supports any architecture.

    Hi, I have a generic question regarding Ports: is it correct to say that, a SWC contains multiple Atomic SWCs, and each of the Atomic SWC has at least one type of Port (R, P, RP, and maybe even Delegation)? And, from a different perspective, we may say that a SWC has a total amount of Ports equal to the sum of all Ports that each contained Atomic SWC has? Tnks

      "SWC contains multiple Atomic SWCs": A composition has no behavior (or runnables) of its own, it only exists as a way to aggregate Atomic SWCs (with behavior and runnables). A composition could theoretically contain zero Atomic SWCs, however this would serve no purpose, other than as a placeholder for an aggregation of Atomic SWCs that will be defined in the future.
